Op. Dr. Rıdvan Açıkalın
He was born in 1976 in Iskenderun. He attended primary and secondary school in İskenderun. After graduating from high school in Adana, he entered Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. He graduated in 2001. In the same year, he started his specialization training in the Department of Neurospinal Cord and Nerve Surgery at Çukurova University. Here he worked with Prof. Dr. Bülent BOYER, the founder of Stereotaxy and FN association, in the field of stereotaxy and functional neurosurgery. He is one of the founding members of the Stereotaxy and FN association.
After his specialization training in 2009, he did his compulsory service in Bingöl State Hospital. He started working at Aşkım Tüfekçi State Hospital in 2012. He has been working in the private sector since 2017.
