WAIST SLIPPING (LISTESIS)

It usually occurs in women with compression of the spinal cord as a result of the spine slipping over the other vertebra for an unknown reason. Trauma can also be seen after back surgery. Back and leg pain that increases with movement is typical. Fusion surgery should be performed for shifts above a certain level. In case of insufficient fusion in these surgeries, a new slip may occur above the level of slippage. A SPECIAL PHYSICIAN MUST BE CONSULTED for the diagnosis and correct treatment of the disease.
